anybody have strong positive or negative side reason of world ends at 2012.

The claimed 2012 doomsday is a hoax. Everything the scam artists are saying about 2012 is untrue. Go take a look at 2012hoax.org. You will see that all the claims are false.
The Mayan calendar doesn’t end, it just recycles. The Maya didn’t predict anything for 2012. They didn’t make prophecies and the end of one cycle and start of another was an event to celebrate.
The History Channel schlockumentary is all lies, half truths, and wild speculation.
There were no ancient prophecies concerning 2012. Nostradamus never mentioned it. No one predicted it before the hoaxers started claiming it. This was after their 2003 doomsday failed to occur on schedule and they needed to keep selling their books and assorted doomsday garbage.
None of it is said or supported by scientists.
All the claimed astronomical events are either impossible or have no effect on us.
The Solar maximum is now expected to occur in May 2013 and won’t hurt us. It could interfere with electronics and communications.
We aren’t going to have any alignments aside from the approximate alignment that occurs every year at the December solstice.
Geomagnetic reversal (polar reversal) takes hundreds to thousands of years to occur. We wouldn’t even feel it happening.
Nibiru doesn’t exist. It came from Z. Sitchen’s misinterpretation of ancient Sumerian references to the planet Jupiter. Even Sitchen didn’t claim it would come back in 2012 (he said 2085). Nancy Lieder, who hears aliens in her head and originally said her “Planet X” would be here in 2003) took over Sitchen’s imaginary planet and changed her doomsday date to 2012 when her original prediction failed.
The Institute for Human Continuity isn’t a real organization. It is a website advertising the movie 2012. It is run by Sony Pictures and if you look around on the site, you will find that the “Press Releases” are all about characters in the movie. It is all fictional.
That covers most of the absurd claims. The world will still be here after 2012, along with most of us.

For years people predicted the world would end.
Back when Nero was in control over Rome, Christians freaked out. They thought that he was the antichrist, and that the world would end. Well, it’s thousands of years later, and we are all still here.
There is no sure way to tell when the world will end. And when it does, it won’t be because of some super natural force. The wars, the pollution, the lack of respect for the planet on which we live, will make life no longer sustainable, and the planet will slowly whither away to nothing over the course of millions of years.
It was just like that epidemic where we believed that the world would spin out of its gravitational pull and crash straight into the sun. It never happened.
Since we have little understanding of the Mayans, we cannot say why the ended their calender on 2012. But I can promise you this, it’d have to be something insane to destroy a whole planet in one year.
Strong negative. There’s no evidence to support the claims made about some kind of doomsday in 2012. Chalk this one up as just another of the dozens of doomsday predictions that have been made throughout our history (every one of which, obviously, failed).
I eagerly await New Years Day, 2013, so people will stop asking this question.
There is no scientific basis for this at all. The Mayan calendar does not go beyond 2012. I suspect they decided that was enough for the time being.
Crackpots have been predicting the end of the world for millennia now. So far, they’ve been wrong every time.
1887, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2006 all of these years the world was suppose to end but it didn’t. God can make the world end tomorrow. It can end in 20 seconds from now. God only knows. Whatever god wants I’m okay with that. Im sure the government will find a result anyway. There is more important things right now. Anyday from now North Korea can launch a major explosive and kill us all. Bin Laden is still hiding. The war in Afghanistan and Iraq. Terrorism. The Mayans aren’t god. They are far away from being him. Just because they say this doesn’t mean it will happen.
December 21, 2012 will be like any other day.
i dont believe it will be the end of the world, i know that much but other than that. I beleive thier will be changes but then agian thier always changes. We are having more storms than ever. So myabe thier will be some kind of disater of some kind, end of the world is a little bit to much
Well there is nothing special about 2012.
To say anything about economical. political or any other aspects, it is too early to forecast anything at present.
The world will never end. And it will always change.
The complete lack of credible evidence for this groundless garbage suggests Happy New Year 2013.
I think its all a bunch of malarky …..right up there with Y2K
