I need a link to a CREDIBLE site supporting the Mayan 2012 theory. This is for a persuasive speech so multiple sites are welcome.

those sites don’t “persuade”… they lie.
its a very well-known technique, you tell an absurd lie that is just obscure enough that most people won’t take the time to check it.
so, if you want to give a “persuasive speech” in the same tone as the 2012 Doom-Squawkers, then tell your audience:
“In 1991, a famous archaeologist found a tablet inscribed in Sumerian, Mayan, Mandarian, Hopi and an unknown language… all have been translated as meaning “Gosh, you guys are screwed in 2012″. The message is rather clear.”
so, in other words… just lie.
If you’re referring to predictions of doom and disaster for that year, I can tell you quite confidently that there ISN’T A SINGLE ONE.
BTW, there wasn’t ANY Mayan “theory” or prediction. Nor did the I Ching or Nostradamus or the Bible or ANY other ancient source predict ANYTHING for that year or ANY year close to it. The claims of such predictions are as fraudulent as the predictions themselves. Even if any such predictions had been made, so what? There have been thousands of predictions of doom and apocalypse and not one has EVER come true. This is exactly like all of those: total bull.
I’d like to know what class this is for? Speech? English? Is this another example of how teachers make themselves more popular and their class more FUN, by allowing reckless, uncritical brainwashing of young minds in the classroom with superstitious bunk and total bull crap? I want to know what your teacher knows about this and where his/her information came from. How is this going to be evaluated? E-mail me. If this is what it looks like, I want to write a letter of complaint to your school board.
(Looks like somebody at the mental hospital let SPS hook up to the Internet again.)
The best site is 2012prophecy.net.
2012prophecy.net
I know some good sites, and I know some 2012 “end of the world” support sites. Sadly, I don’t know of any sites that are both.
But … if you are referring to the theory that the Yukatek or Cakchiquel (Mayan) will do well in 2012. …
What you want cannot be given, this 2012 doomsday is fiction. Fiction created by people who feed off such doomsday scenarios.
Like those who thought the world was going to end in 2000 and those who still try to find the end of the world in the writings of Nostradamus, it’s all nonsense.
If you do a Google search you can find mountains of nonsense about 2012.
If you want reliable scientific data go to:http://astrogeek.wordpress.com/hoax/
There can be no good websites supporting disaster theories about 2012.Sorry.Learn some real science.
Make your plans for 2013.
first of all, there are no theories on 2012. There are wild speculations and very creative imaginations. That is it. It is a crackpot thing that ranks among the end of the world claims around the turn of the millenium.
It is not a Theory .
It is a wild assertion. You would be able to CREDIBLY support it.
Look up Scientific Methods
Scientific Theory and etc
Persuading people about garbage needs a landfill, not a website about science.
there are none. there can be no credibility for something that is utter nonsense.
the 2012 movie made a cool explosion e-card, its worth checking out
