I Am Getting So Sick And Tired Of People Saying The World Is Gonna End In 2012?

I really getting sick of people saying the world is gonna end in 2012. If anything is gonna happen the internet will stop working and people will go crazy, and until it is fixed this will be our “end of the world” IMO.

That’s just another fear thing from the media. I thought it was going to end in 2000 with Y2K. Oh, after 2012, there will be something new to worry about…it just keeps going on and on.
When it was Y1K, people were going up on hills to wait for the end of the world. People are always seeing the end coming, and hanging a date on it. Nostradamus has been misinterpreted and believers discredited. Jehovah’s Witlesses have predicted the end of the world numerous times and it hasn’t happened. Personally, I need some credible evidence, not a piling of opinions. I avoid those 2012 forums and deal with what’s going on in the nearer future.
Better get used to it. It seems with the advent of the internet the nutjobs are multiplying like rabbits. LOOK, the way I see it, we are all going to die. Even if it WERE to end on a proposed date, would you really want to know? What difference would it make in the end? And given the propensity of society to overreact and riot, wouldn’t you keep it a secret if you were in the know? Let’s just give it a rest.
If I were to believe such things, I would rather put my faith on real and tangible facts such as an asteroid hitting the Earth. I see no point in believing that the world would end on 2012 just because some ancient civilization says so. I’d rather follow that German kid that debunked NASA’s prediction of a 1 in 45000 chance that an asteroid would hit earth on 2036.
Lets put the record straight. The World is not going to end in 2012. That wont happen until about 3,500 .However we may have to go through a very traumatic period in the years ahead.This is based on predictions from the Virgin Mary who is appearing in Medjugorje. These apparitions have not yet been authenticated by the Vatican as they are still happening.Whether or not you believe in them is up to the individual. Mary has been appearing since 1981 and is still appearing. She has been giving six young people 10 secrets (or messages) about future events.She is appearing to the seers to tell the world of the urgency to return to the ways of God.
So far three of the “seers” have received all 10 messages.The other three have each received 9. They are all different messages and each “seer” can only read their own messages. As soon as all six “visionaries” have received all 10 secrets ,then the events of those secrets will begin to unfold.Mary has given permission for the first 3 secrets and the last 2 secrets from one of the seers to be made available for mankind.This is to give us some time to be converted.Shortly after the first 3 secrets have been revealed to the world, a visible sign will be left on top of the mountain where Mary first appeared. The visible sign will be from God.Those who are still alive after the visible sign will have little time for conversion.
The first 3 secrets are Warnings for the World :A Day of Repentance. A day of Consolation. A Day of Healing. The 9th and 10th secrets are grave matters. They are a chastisement for the sins of the world, which will begin in 2038.The punishment is inevitable because we cannot expect the conversion of the entire world. The chastisement can be mitigated by prayers and penance. It cannot be suppressed.For that reason Mary continues to ask for prayer and fasting. Some Theologians have worked out what they believe to be the answers for all the secrets based on the Book of Revelation in the Bible.. This is what one believes will happen : I will just list a few.
2010 to 2019….World War 3 …..The First Horseman and the First Seal of the Book of Revelation.
2010 to 2019….Civil violence and disorder worldwide…..The Second Horseman and the Second Seal of the Book of Revelation.
2013 to 2020…The Great Famine of the 21st Century….The Third Horseman and theThird Seal of the Book of Revelation.
EDIT…..Pieces of comet (probably Comet Tempel 1) COULD fall to Earth in 2012.
( In 2038 many large pieces of Comet Tempel 1 will strike the Earth causing massive destruction and loss of life…..The First Trumpet of the Seventh Seal. This is the beginning of the chastisement from God, for the sins of the world.)
So i guess we will have to wait a couple of years to see if any of theses predictions take place.

I don’t think anybody can just set a date to when the world will end. I think it’s ridiculous. Because there is no exact date or year to when the world will end! Okay well maybe scientists will be able to predict or calculate when, but you never know when a comet or an asteroid will land on earth. Maybe the next hour? The next day? The next month? No one knows.
They say that because it is the end of the Mayan calendar.
They assume the Mayan’s had some insight into the end of the world. I personally doubt it as we have a 25 yr. mortgage and there is no way the bank is going to let us out of that one, calendar or no calendar!
ok.we are going through a black hole tomorrow.the pressure will be so great that you wont even have the net on your mind.

The media and blogs have really hyped up the true Mayan calendar into this sensational prediction of doom.
I’ll be glad when 12/22/12 gets here and we can all go back to normal…….. well, I’m sure there will be another prediction just waiting to be blown out of proportion.
The way I look at it, there’s nothing I can do about it if it does, so I might as well try to make the best of life here, now.

just ignore it. let them say and think what they want to say and believe.
