There are so many predictions about doomsday coming around the years 2010 to 2012 that I am beganing to feel there is something to it. The Mayan Calander and other cultures in past times plus the things our own Goverment almost hints at such things coming.
This would fall into place with the Mayan’s and ancient Chinese calendars saying the end was on Dec 21st 2012. Someone please ease my nerves here LOL
I heard a few years ago that the Earth will change its direction of spin in the year 2012, but i haven’t heard anything new on it, such as the specific date (if there is one) and any changes to the theory.

It was found in news some four months back that some asteroid is going to hit the earth in the fourth quarter of 2012. Whether this menace has been handled and successfully averted?

People say we are destroying our landfills by not recycling and the ozone layer is getting thinner, but there is so many details to work with, that there is pretty much no possible way in figuring out why our Planet Earth is going to be destroyed by then!
I heard that it’s gonna be in complete alignment with the sun, the moon and the ‘birth canal’ of the Milky Way or something like that? Supposedly this only happens once every 26,000 years or around that number correct? I also heard that when this happens the Earth will turn upside down, like Canada will be were South America is and vice versa, is that true?

There has been alot of talk about 2012. Many feel that the world is going to end in December of that year. How can we know, by what the Bible says, that the earth is NOT going to be destroyed in 2012?
What does the Bible mean when it DOES speak about the end of the world? Is the “world” the same as the “earth”?
