Can anyone of you here tell me why is it that most people these days linked Barack Obama with the 2012 Doomsday?? :-/

You have it wrong! It is not MOST people, it is SOME people. Usually the anti-Obama fans who do not want him to succeed and call him anything from the anti-christ to the devil. Yup! Guess who uses those words!
Everything linked to the 2012 Doomsday prediction is based on fear – fear of the future, fear of the past, fear of what is in the bible, fear of changes that they do not want, and to many it is fear of a Black President. Bigotry and prejudiced still exist, especially since President Obam was elected.
As for the phropecies. I have lived through probably a 100 end of the world prophecies in my time and none of them came true. Meantime, all those poor souls who were fearing those end of times, spent and wasted their precious time fearing something that never came.
Same with this one. I will put a question up in 2013 asking those who feared that particular prophecy, wasted THEIR time fearing.
I think it was the History Channel that showed a bunch of different prophecies that all indicated that the world would end 2012. The fact is, it could. As others have stated there have been many such predictions over many centuries and so far so good, (unless you are a believer). Believers in Christ have a hope of a new heaven and a new earth where there will be no sadness, death, or evil , so for them no problem. Biblical prophecies speak of an antichrist that would fool everyone and open an age of evil like nothing before. Some believe those prophecies happened already. Some awful awful things happened after the fall of the temple and hoards of murderous armies terrorized the earth Some thought that the black death was the end of the world. I admit there does seem to be an adoration of Obama that seems to be beyond the pale. For a while the whole world seemed to be mesmerized. He seems to be getting away with things others would not ( i.e his bizarre Czars and various tarnished appointments).
What is this about 2012? They said the same thing about the year 2000 Nostrodamus the world would come to an end. The world isn’t going to come to an end 2012 is year when London is going to host the Olympics which is costing us an absolute fortune.
That’s the Republicans who blame him when it rains.
Simple. 2012 is the year he’ll be reelected.
